GRIMM PLANS TO WED IN EUROPE (BY RUTH STEINER)
Artist Heiner Grimm, who left here May 1 to visit his
mother in Wunsiedel, Germany, writes a most interesting
letter to one of his students here, Mrs. Irene Fenton,
of the enthusiasm shown in Germany for his Desert landscapes.
He has had two showings in the famous gallery in Nurenberg,
also one in Munich.
The Munich people were so enthused over the paintings,
Grimm plans to open a gallery there, supplying them with
his Dessert paintings after his return here. Invitations
have been extended to Grimm to show his paintings in London
and Paris. He will also show some of his Indian portraits
as well as a number of scenic landscapes, done while he
was in Arizona.
Artist Grimm is the only artist who does portraits on
fine Porcelaine. He presented President Eisenhower with
Ikes portrait on porcelain when he was here on his
first visit. Now, while Grimm is away, he is doing one
of Vice President Nixon which he will present to him when
he returns to America in later October.
